Description
The patented self-emptying tipping bucket system in the rain collector is unique, and places the meteorological rain gauge among one of the most accurate rain collectors. The measuring spoon is tipping automatically and is emptied by registration of a preset amount of water. SC8200 is self-emptying and consequently secured against frost. The rain Collector is very precise and has for instance an intensity of 3mm/0,12 inch per minute at a calibration of 0,25 mm or 1/100 inch. SC8200 is reliable and stable. A re-calibration can be done by an adjusting screw.
