Product Description
Description
SC9260-BA Cyanobacteria (Blue-green Algae) sensor uses fluorescence approach to measure cyanobacteria concentrations in water. When cyanobacteria are excited by a high-energy LED light source of 590nm, it produces a specific wavelength fluorescence which based on its spectrum absorption characteristics, can be used to detect cyanobacteria concentrations in water. SC9260-BA sensor is particularly suitable for scientific research as well as for online water quality monitoring of ground water, surface water and other water applications.

Application
- Lake, reservoir, underground and river water
Hydrocarbons are dangerous pollutants that have to be detected very early on reservoir or river for producing drinking water. Fast and reliable measuring system is necessary, and the UV fluorescence is the only method matching these requirements. - Cooling water survey
The concentration of hydrocarbons in cooling water is a critical parameter on refineries. - Wastewater monitoring
The effluents of refineries and chemical plants have to stay below limits to meet the environmental regulations. A reliable and low maintenance measuring system is required and only UV fluorescence approach achieves this goal.
